Israeli warplanes at dawn Thursday waged aerial attacks on sites near the seaport in the coast area of Khan Younis south of the Gaza Strip with no reported casualties.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that an Israeli drone fired one missile at the area around the seaport in the west of Khan Younis and later targeted the same place with another missile.
About half an hour later Israeli warplanes carried out two air raids on the same spot.
The sound of explosions resulting from the airstrikes caused panic among the Palestinian civilians living nearby.
During the last four days the Israeli occupation army launched several aerial attacks on different sites in Gaza mostly belonging to the Palestinian resistance.
The Israeli army claimed its attacks on Gaza were in response to the launch of balloons carrying incendiary materials or explosive devices towards Israeli areas.
