Ezzat al-Resheq member of Hamas’s Political Bureau and Head of Hamas’s office of Arab and Muslim relations praised the position of Kuwait that supported the Palestinian people and their legitimate right to resisting occupation.
In a statement on Wednesday Resheq hailed the speech of Speaker of Kuwait’s National Assembly Marzouq al-Ghanim who strongly slammed the Israeli delegation at the International Parliament congress in St. Petersburg. He asked the Israeli representative to leave the hall as being a representative of an occupation authority.
Many supportive reactions to al-Ghanim’s position were posted over the social media.
