Hebrew media sources said last night that Israeli targets came under fire near Nablus City with no reported casualties.
According to the Hebrew website 0404 soldiers heard gunshots seemingly being fired at them near the settlement of Shavei Shomron in western Nablus.
A Jewish settler also reported hearing sounds of gunfire near his vehicle while he was driving on a road near Yitzhar settlement in southern Nablus.
Soon later the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a manhunt for the shooters and closed roads around Nablus.
In a communiqué the Lions’ Den armed group claimed responsibility for the two shooting operations on Sunday night affirming that its shooting attack on a settler’s car near Yitzhar settlement was successful.
The armed group warned that Jewish settlers would not return to their homes safely if the Israeli occupation authority refused to release the withheld bodies of Palestinian martyrs.
