The Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network – Samidoun has called on the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to assume its national responsibility towards the Palestinian prisoners through raising their issue at the UN Security Council and the General Assembly.
The Brussels-based organization urged the PLO to work on having the Security Council and the General Assembly to hold special sessions on the issue of the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
Samidoun stressed the need for international condemnation of the systematic and brutal practices the Palestinian prisoners are exposed to in Israeli jails.
