Settlers cut down power poles south of Nablus

Dozens of Jewish settlers cut off electricity poles in Jalud town south of Nablus on Wednesday.

Ghassan Daghlas an official monitoring the settlement activity in the northern West Bank stated that Esh Kodesh settlers infiltrated the eastern region of Jalud town and cut off several wooden electricity poles using an electric saw.

Douglas indicated that the electricity supply was cut off for several hours due to the settlers’ attack.

He added that there has been a noticeable increase in settler attacks which targets Palestinian citizens and their property.

On Tuesday evening settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles passing near Qusra and Jalud towns shattering the windows of several Palestinian vehicles.

Jewish settlers have escalated their attacks in the areas and villages of the south of Nablus especially Asira al-Qibliya town.

According to a periodic report issued by Hamas’s media office in West Bank the occupation forces committed (1575) violations against the Palestinians and their lands in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem during September.
