Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed on Sunday the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern courtyards of the Mosque.

The settlers carried out tours near Bab al-Rahma before leaving from Bab al-Silsila
under the protection of the Israeli police.

The occupation police facilitated the storming of settlers by securing their entry from the Magharabi Gate.

Local sources said that the Jewish settlers documented their incursion by taking photos and videos.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque witnesses continuous violations by the Israeli occupation and its settlers.

Jewish settlers stormed on Sunday morning the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Magharabi Gate under Israeli police protection.

Wadi Al-Hilweh Information Center said in a brief statement that 68 settlers broke into the Mosque and carried out a provocative tour in its courtyards before leaving it from Bab al-Silsilah.

The occupation police continue to impose restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to Al-Aqsa and check their ID cards at its gates.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily incursions and violations by settlers and the Israeli police while the frequency of these incursions increases during the Jewish holidays.

Dozens of Jewish settlers broke into the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Monday morning.

Local sources said that about 50 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in groups through the Magharabi Gate under the protection of the Israeli police.

The settlers carried out tours and performed provocative rituals in the Mosque before leaving through Bab Al-Silsila.

The occupation police are working to secure settlers’ incursions by suppressing Muslim worshipers in the Mosque.

For his part Sheikh Ekremah Sabri the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the head of the Supreme Islamic Authority called on Jerusalemites to confront the Israeli policy and its systematic brutality aimed at keeping the Muslims away from Al-Aqsa.

Sabri explained in a press statement that the frequency of the incursions by the occupation police and settlers into Al-Aqsa Mosque has increased.

“They want to cover up their defeat in Gaza and to take revenge on the Jerusalemites who sparked the recent events” he noted.

He said that no one has the right to deport anyone from his place of worship and no one dares to do so except the Israeli occupation authority that violates all international norms and laws.

Dozens of settlers defiled on Sunday morning the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed provocative rituals amid the forced evacuation of Muslim worshipers by Israeli police.

Jerusalemite sources reported that 28 settlers entered the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The tour was carried out in groups from the Maghareba Gate to the al-Silsila Gate during which provocative rituals were performed.

The occupation police forced a group of elderly women to move away from the courtyards of Al-Aqsa to allow a settler to sit alone as part of the restrictions imposed on Muslims stationed in the Mosque.

The settler incursions are part of periodic tours aiming to change the fait accompli in the Holy City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Meanwhile a new convoy carrying dozens of Arab residents of the 1948 occupied lands from Nazareth city departed to the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The idea of the Al-Aqsa convoys is traced back to several years when the Islamic movement in particular and the people of the 1948 occupied Palestine in general have been organizing those convoys to strengthen the Arab and Islamic presence in Jerusalem and prevent the Israeli

Jewish settlers resumed their daily intrusions into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday morning and performed Talmudic rituals there under Israeli police protection.

Jerusalemite sources reported that groups of settlers broke into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque despite the continued comprehensive lockdown imposed on the holy city.

The storming was carried out from the Maghareba Gate to the al-Silsila Gate passing through the al-Rahma Gate area during which Jewish settlers performed Talmudic rituals.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is witnessing daily except on Fridays and Saturdays incursions and violations by settlers and the occupation police and in two shifts in the morning and evening.

The Israeli police allowed the incursions despite the continued complete lockdown in the holy city. Meanwhile strict measures are imposed on Jerusalemites wishing to access the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Groups of Jewish settlers resumed on Sunday morning their storming into the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli police protection despite the comprehensive lockdown that the occupation authorities impose in Jerusalem.

Jerusalemite sources reported that groups of settlers broke into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Maghareba Gate and ended their tour at Al-Silsila Gate.

The sources pointed out that the Israeli police closed the Maghareba Gate after the settlers’ incursions. The settlers embarked on provocative tours in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa before leaving from Al-Silsila Gate.

Since last week Israel imposed a strict and comprehensive lockdown on Occupied Jerusalem under the pretext of the coronavirus outbreak and prevented anyone from walking more than a kilometer from the vicinity of his home.

Hanadi Halawani the expelled Jerusalemite activist said that the occupation imposes strict measures against Jerusalemites while facilitating settlers’ incursions into Al-Aqsa in an attempt to leave it an easy prey for the Jewish settlers.

Halawani called on the people of the Old City to stay in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and not leave it for the Jewish settlers.

Last month the Israeli police provided the settlers an additional half hour during the evening incursions.

The Temple groups had urged the Israeli occupation authorities to tighten their grip over Jerusalemites harass them and banish them from Jerusalem. They pointed out the necessity of exploiting the unlimited American support for Israel and push towards more Judaization projects.
