Sheikh Ekrima Sabri head of the Higher Islamic Council in Occupied Jerusalem called for a day of anger on Friday to denounce the French attempts to insult Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and to mark the anniversary of his birth.
In press remarks Sheikh Sabri said that the Muslim nation expressed its rejection of the French drawings that insult Prophet Muhammad and would protest such uncivilized transgressions.
He described the insolent and hostile drawings against Prophet Muhammad as acts of contempt and ridicule and contrary to what the western countries claim about freedoms of speech opinion or expression.
