Sheikh Mohamed Weld ad-Dedaw member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) has condemned the US decision to blacklist senior Hamas official Saleh al-Aruri and put a price for information leading to him.
In press remarks Sheikh Dedaw considered the US administration’s decision “a reflection of its ugly face its enmity against the Muslim nation and its bias in favor of the Zionist entity.”
He stressed that Aruri is known for his struggle for the liberation of his own land and his efforts to unite his own people and put an end to the blockade on Gaza adding that the US decision against him was unjustified.
Sheikh Weld ad-Dedaw urged all Muslims around the world to necessarily support Aruri against such US injustice.
The US state department recently announced financial rewards for any information leading to Aruri and two senior Hezbollah officials.
Aruri had already been labeled as a terrorist in September 2015 by the US department of the treasury.
