Hundreds of Palestinians in Gaza Strip on Friday participated in a sit-in in protest at the US decisions on recognizing Occupied Jerusalem as the capital if Israel and limiting the US aid for UNRWA.
A leader of the Palestinian Arab Front Jamil Ashour delivered a speech on behalf of the Palestinian factions who organized the event. He warned of American efforts aiming at liquidating the Palestinian Question through the reduction of the US aid for UNRWA.
He reiterated that all Palestinians adhere to the right of return and the historic status of Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine. He called for achieving reconciliation and asked the Arab countries and international community to take urgent action to save UNRWA from financial failure.
