Six Palestinian prisoners are still on open-ended hunger strike Monday in protest at their detention administratively with no indictments or trials.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said that Kayed al-Fasfous Meqdad Qawasmeh Alaa al-A’raj Hesham Abu Hawwash Rayeq Besharat and Shady Abu Aker have been on hanger strike for 54 47 29 21 16 and 13 days respectively.
Some of them suffer serious health conditions especially al-Fasfous al-A’raj and Qawasmeh it said adding that the latter was taken to the hospital and transferred to ICU.
The Society held the Israeli occupation authority fully responsible for the prisoners’ lives and called on all concerned institutions especially the Red Cross to call on those prisoners and check on their health conditions.
