Friday 21-October-2016

Six Palestinian citizens suffered bullet injuries on Friday morning during violent clashes in Balata refugee camp of Nablus with soldiers from the Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces who withdrew later.

One young man suffered a serious bullet injury in the chest when the security forces opened fire randomly at citizens upon their departure from the camp.

Scores of young men chased and attacked the forces with stones as they were swiftly leaving the camp according to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Nablus.

Several citizens including a girl child also suffered from inhaling tear gas during the events.

Nablus mayor Akram al-Rajoub said the security forces were attacked by gunmen during a routine campaign in the camp and had to trade fire with them.
