Israeli warplanes has waged multiple airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since 01:15 am on Friday causing considerable damage to homes and property.
The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) in Gaza said that 45 air raids had taken place during the early morning hours of Friday and targeted civilian homes and facilities as well as agricultural tracts of land and resistance sites.
In addition to the material damage in the bombed areas a man and his wife were reportedly injured during one of those aerial attacks.
Israeli gunboats also participated in the wanton aggression against Gaza and intensively opened fire towards Gaza waters and shores particularly off the coast of Rafah.
In the same context the Israeli occupation army said in a statement that its military helicopters and aircrafts had bombed about 100 targets across Gaza.
In retaliation the Palestinian resistance announced their armed brigades launched several rockets at Israeli military sites and settlements near Gaza.
The air raids happened after Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu convened an emergency security meeting at the headquarters of the Israeli army to discuss the response to the firing of two missiles towards Tel Aviv.
The armed wings of the Palestinian resistance factions including Hamas and Islamic Jihad denied responsibility for the missile attack on Tel Aviv while the Palestinian ministry of interior in Gaza launched an investigation into what happened.
