Israeli warplanes on Saturday night bombed several areas of the besieged Gaza Strip as some rockets fired from Gaza targeted Israeli settlements and military posts.
Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that resounding explosions were heard throughout during overnight Israeli air raids which caused widespread panic among Palestinian families.
According to them the airstrikes targeted several resistances sites in northern Gaza and an empty plot of land near the Karam Abu Salem crossing in eastern Rafah.
Other aerial attacks were launched on resistance posts in the western area of Deir al-Balah and areas near the new seaport in Khan Younis and Gaza port.
Meanwhile Israeli warplanes bombed a resistance site known locally as al-Jidar five times causing damage to the nearby Indonesian hospital and a power outage in Sheikh Zayed towers.
Later scores of missiles also hit resistance posts in the south and northwest of Gaza City as well as in central Gaza and northern Rafah.
A drone reportedly bombed an agricultural tract of land in the east of Khan Younis.
In a related context the Palestinian resistance continued to launch retaliatory rocket attacks on different Israeli targets including settlements near Gaza.
Earlier the resistance fired about 10 rockets at settlements on Friday in retaliation for the Israeli occupation army’s cold-blooded killing of five protesters participating in March of Return rallies east of Gaza.
