Tens of thousands of Muslim worshipers on Tuesday morning performed the Eid al-Adha prayer at the Aqsa Mosque despite the Israeli movement restrictions.
According to the Islamic Awqaf Administration over 100000 worshipers flocked to the Mosque at dawn and in the early morning hours to observe the Eid prayer and khutba.
Following the Fajr and Eid prayers thousands of Palestinian youths rallied in the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards in support of the Palestinian resistance.
Local sources said that the youths chanted slogans and carried banners in support of Gaza its resistance and Mohamed Deif (the chief commander of al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas).
