A state of high tension broke out on Friday between Palestinian prisoners and Israeli jailers in Gilboa prison after special forces violently raided cells and maltreated detainees.
According to the Hebrew media the prisoners in the jail expressed their protest at the arbitrary raid on their cells by setting fire to mattresses and one room.
New reports added that the tension was running high in all sections of the prison and that all jailers were put on high alert.
