Tension has been running high in all Israeli jails since yesterday as a result of several punitive measures that were taken against all the Palestinian prisoners after six of them broke out of Gilboa jail.
According Asra Media Office the Israeli prison service decided to decrease the leisure time the prisoners spend in the prison yards close the commissaries and transfer all the Islamic Jihad prisoners from their prison sections which were closed following the Gilboa jailbreak.
Asra Media expressed its belief that a wave of serious tension would hit the Israeli detention facilities in light of its massive punitive measures against the prisoners.
Such Israeli escalation has taken place after six Palestinian prisoners five of them from Islamic Jihad escaped through a tunnel from the high-security jail of Gilboa (northern Israel) in the predawn hours of Monday morning.
