The Palestinian Captive Movement affirmed in a statement issued Thursday that the Palestinian prisoner Sami Al-Amour was subjected to a real execution.
The Movement also held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for his death as he was a victim of a systematic and deliberate medical negligence during his detention.
Al-Amour was stopped for 14 hours at military checkpoints before reaching hospital where he was proclaimed dead the statement pointed out.
The Movement stressed the need to hold Israel accountable for its crimes against Palestinian prisoners.
Meanwhile a state of tension has prevailed in Israeli jails after the Israeli prison service closed all the sections and prevented prisoners from leaving their cells.
Palestinian prisoner Sami al-Amour was proclaimed dead on Thursday morning at Soroka Hospital in Beersheba as a result of his exposure to medical neglect.
Prisoner Amour from Deir al-Balah in central Gaza Strip had been in jail since 2008 serving 19 years.
