Palestinian Haytham Abusabla 24 was practicing a right that is guaranteed by all laws and charters by taking part in a peaceful demonstration that calls for the right of return to his land from which his ancestors were displaced. He was calling on the whole world to lift the siege imposed on Gaza chanting: “Enough injustice oppression and arrogance.”
To the east of Khuza’a village east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip the 24-year-old along with thousands of Palestinian women children men and elderly were calling for their rights their dignity their land and their Jerusalem.
As time passed and with the passing of every second a person would fall on the ground after being sniped down telling a story of heroism redemption and unity and leading an epic battle with an enemy that does not respect ethics or laws.
Unexpectedly Haytham Abusabla was hit by a tear gas canister that pierced his face and mouth breaking his teeth and opening a gap in his face and putting him on life support at Nasser hospital in Khan Younis.
The scene was painful as reported by some of the people who witnessed it and as the photos posted by activists on social media sites revealed it.
Perhaps words can’t describe what happened as they fail to depict the savagery of the criminal Israeli army.
