Thousands of Palestinian worshipers on Wednesday performed Eid al-Fitr prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque amid tight restrictions by the Israeli occupation.
Local sources reported that thousands of Palestinians from Jerusalem the West Bank and the 1948 occupied territories flocked to the holy mosque to attend the prayer.
Meanwhile dozens of worshipers performed the Eid prayer at the gates of the Old City of Jerusalem after they were prevented by the Israeli police from entering the Mosque.
