The three new infected prisoners are: Rawan Abu Matar Rahma al-Assad and Maysoon Musa.

Last week the PPS revealed that 50 Palestinian prisoners have tested positive for COVID-19 since the start of the year.

Therefore the total number of infections among Palestinian inmates has risen to 416 since April 2021.

Palestinian rights groups have earlier raised deep concern over the spread of the coronavirus in the Israeli prisons amid total disregard on the part of the Israeli occupation authorities.

The rights groups further called on the Red Cross to follow up on the prisoners’ health situation especially those who suffer difficult health problems.
