The Palestinian Prisoners Club said on Sunday that three prisoners in the Israeli prisons continue their open hunger strike rejecting their administrative detention.
The club stated in a press statement that Imad Swarka 37 started his hunger strike on 18/03/2021 after an occupation court issued a new administrative detention order against him. This is the third administrative detention order against him since his arrest in July 2020.
Meanwhile Musab al-Hor 33 continues his hunger strike for 13 consecutive days. He is being held in the Negev desert prison and he has been detained since 2019. Hor is married and has one child.
The journalist Ala’a Rimawi from Ramallah continues his open-ended hunger strike for the fifth day in a row. He was taken from the Etzion detention center to the Israeli Shaare Zedek hospital on Saturday.
Rimawi is a former prisoner who spent a total of 11 years in the occupation prisons. He is married and has five children. He declared his strike on the first day of his arrest on April 21.
