Three Palestinian children were wounded one of them seriously at dawn Friday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired at a vehicle in which they were riding near the Jalameh checkpoint northeast of Jenin.
Local sources reported that IOF was stationed at Jalameh checkpoint and fired randomly at a vehicle. This led to the injury of Taha Shady Al-Samen 16 with a bullet splinter in the back; his condition was described as moderate. Muhammad Zakaria Al-Zubaidi 16 was also injured and his condition was classified as moderate. The third child Mahmoud Ahmad Mus Khalil Halajiya 15 was hit with a bullet in his head and his condition was described as serious.
Halajiya was taken to Nablus while the two other causalities Samen and Zubaidi were taken to Martyr Khalil Suleiman Government Hospital in Jenin.
The IOF soldiers then stormed Jenin city raided the industrial zone and launched a search campaign on Jenin-Nazareth Street.
