Three political detainees in Palestinian Authority (PA) jails including a doctor have been on hunger strike for three days their families announced on Saturday.
The hunger strike aims at demanding their release from PA preventive security’s jail after being illegally detained for five days without any charges.
The families of striking detainees told Quds Press that their sons Dr. Iyad al-Faqih Aous Abu Urqoup and Nour al-Zareu started to fast last Thursday after the court judge in Doura town ordered the extension of their arrest.
The families of the three political captives called on human rights organizations to intervene for the sake of releasing their sons especially after the open hunger strike decision.
