Saturday 19-May-2018

Two Palestinians died late Friday from wounds they sustained after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces during the Great Return March protests on Monday.

Gaza’s Ministry of Health said that Mu’in al-Sa’i 58 and Mohammed Iliyyan 20 succumbed to wounds they sustained on Monday.

With the death of al-Sa’i and Iliyyan the number of Palestinians killed in Monday’s massacre increased to 64 raising the death toll in Gaza since the launch of the Great Return March to 119.

The massacre stirred widespread international condemnation while voices have been raised for international and independent investigation into the Israeli crimes in Gaza.

The Great Return March protests started along Gaza’s eastern border fence on 30th March to demand the right of return for Palestinian refugees in accordance with the UN resolutions especially Resolution 194 which stipulates return or compensation.
