Two Palestinian citizens were injured on Saturday when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) quelled an anti-settlement demonstration in Kafr Qaddum village in the West Bank district of Qalqilya.
Activist Murad Shtewi said in press statements that the IOF heavily fired live ammunition rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters at the peaceful demonstrators.
Shtewi added that two Palestinian youths were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets while dozens choked on tear gas.
Every week the Palestinian residents of Kafr Qaddum take to the streets to protest Israel’s growing settlement expansion in the West Bank.
