Unknown gunmen on Monday evening opened fire at the home and car of Kamal Jaber Fatah’s municipal candidate in Huwara town south of Nablus city. No injuries were reported local sources revealed.
Jaber deputy of Huwara’s Former Mayor told reporters that the attackers aimed at disrupting the upcoming elections. He asked the Palestinian Authority security forces to arrest the attackers and bring them to account.
One official list of Fatah Movement and two others including candidates of the same movement are competing for Huwara municipal elections.
