Arab Knesset member Jamal Zahalka has called for strongly backing Gaza at home and abroad in the face of the Israeli aggression affirming that the protest rallies held in Israel (the 1948 occupied lands) in support of Gaza will continue.
Zahalka head of the National Democratic Assembly made his remarks during his participation in the massive demonstration that was organized on Saturday in Haifa in solidarity with Gaza.
The lawmaker called for holding more popular activities in support of Gaza in all areas of the Palestinian presence so as not to leave Gaza alone in the face of the Israeli occupation.
He also called on the Palestinian Authority leadership to lift its sanctions on Gaza stressing that “Gaza should be supported and helped in its struggle and not punished.”
