Musharraf cheapening himself his country

Saturday 21-April-2007

The military dictator of Pakistan Gen. Pervez Musharraf told the Arabiya satellite TV channel Friday 20 April that he would be willing to visit Israel to promote peace.

“I would be willing to visit Israel to help bring peace to the Middle East” he said during an interview with the Dubai-based TV station.

In September 2005 high-ranking Pakistani officials met in Turkey with then Israel’s foreign minister Silvan Shalom.

Musharraf defended contacts with Muslims’ central enemy on the ground that Islam was the religion of peace and that the Prophet Muhammed spared no efforts to reach peace with his enemies.

Well regardless of the meaningless analogy it is really hard to find anything worthwhile in these vacuous and obsequious overtures from Islamabad especially when they are nearly always met with disdain and contempt from Zionist leaders in occupied Palestine as well as in Washington D.C.

We who have been languishing under Israel’s Nazi-like occupation for forty years now know for sure that Judeo-fascist Israeli regime doesn’t want peace. This is actually what the Israeli press and many Jewish intellectuals are saying openly.

The reason for that is clear. Peace and the domineering Talmudic Zionist mentality are an oxymoron. Zionism thrives on militarism aggression and territorial expansion. Without these basic in-built components of Zionist thinking Zionism which Israel embodies would collapse from within.

Second Israel has demonstrated numerous times its aversion to peace with its neighbors including the Palestinian people whose land it has been stealing and whose freedom dignity and even survival it has been seeking to destroy.

Indeed a country that murders steals and lies as well as build Jewish-only colonies on stolen land obviously is not interested in peace.

The Arab world including the Palestinian Authority has repeatedly offered Israel both recognition and normalization in return for giving up the spoils of the 1967 war and allowing the refugees to go home. To demonstrate their sincerity Arab kings and presidents went as far as cheapening themselves and their offices in a desperate effort to convince Israel and its American guardian-allies of their desire for peace but to no avail.

The Zionists do like to see all Arab and Muslim states normalize relations with Israel while the Judeo-fascist entity continues to torment starve and murder Palestinian children and steal more and more pieces of the remainder of the West Bank.

Normalization with Israel at this time serves mainly to convince the arrogant Zionist leaders that peace with the Muslim world is quite possible even without resolving the Palestinian plight by ending the occupation and colonization of Palestine.

Israel out of arrogance or deception or both believes there ought to be no linkage between “the dispute with the Palestinians” and political economic and even cultural normalization with the Muslim world.

It is indeed scandalous and disgraceful to see some Muslim and Arab leaders adopting the Israeli stance in this regard.

Otherwise what else explains the shameful harrowing toward Israel by an important Muslim state of 170 million Muslims which also has a nuclear capability and is far away from Palestine?

We know well that Musharraf and his cohorts are not about to convert to Talmudic Judaism or Zionism.

Nonetheless it is abundantly clear that the dictator of Pakistan who like most Arab dictators values the legitimacy that comes from America’s acceptance of him more than that which comes from his own people’s acceptance is only trying to obtain a certificate of good conduct from the US government whose policies and politics are controlled rather tightly by the Israeli lobbies such as AIPAC.

Hence it might be that Musharraf is reasoning that why speak to the monkey when you can speak to the organ grinder!

Dictators have no legitimacy neither political nor moral and Musharraf is no exception.

However betraying the Palestinian people’s paramount rights to freedom and independence from an evil Third Reich-like Zionist entity all in order to enhance Musharraf’s regime  image in the eyes of AIPAC borders on blaspheme and apostasy.

Musharraf and the likes of Musharraf and they are many may visit Israel and spend convivial evenings with the Zionist state’s criminal leaders who we all know have on their hands tons of Palestinian and Muslim blood. But the sacred issue of Palestine and al-Masjidul Aqsa should never ever be used as an alibi to cover up treachery.

Traitors collaborators and agents of foreign powers don’t serve the interests of Palestine and its enduring just cause. In fact the opposite is true.

There is no doubt that this shameful discourse by some Muslim regimes toward Israel serves only to further embolden the Zionist regime and consequently makes the goal of peace much more distant and illusive.

Only strength moral political and military would convince Israel to walk in the path of peace. This is the message that every Muslim government in the region and beyond needs to understand and internalize and especially act upon if they are truly interested in having a bright future for their children a future free from the specters of Israel’s nuclear bombs and warheads.

The great Pakistani poet Muhammad Iqbal wrote: the attainment of goals occurs not by wishful thinking but the world is conquered through strength.

When will this generation of misfits and midgets understand this?
