“I don’t understand why we were attacked.”
Residents of Gaza are reeling from two nights of air strikes that have so far killed at least 36 and left dozens homeless. Israel initially said it was preparing for a week-long war but has now reportedly agreed to a ceasefire.
The air strikes eventually ended after a third day of bombardment leaving at least 47 killed and hundreds wounded.
