The Palestinian residents of Fari’ah refugee camp in Tubas organized a protest rally on Thursday evening against UNRWA’s recent decisions to shrink its operations which they described as “steps threatening their existence.”
Scores of citizens rallied near the main entrance to the camp as they were carrying placards condemning UNRWA’s decisions and US president Donald Trump.
Addressing the crowds senior official of the Palestinian People’s Party Khaled Mansour called for developing stronger positions amounting to the size of threats targeting UNRWA and the issue of the Palestinian refugees.
Other speakers also warned of the gravity of the decisions taken by UNRWA that adversely affected its operations including the humanitarian services it provides for Palestinian refugees.
