The Hamas Movement on Monday called on universities all over the world to boycott Israeli universities that are involved in the Israeli colonialist expansionist policies which violate Palestinians’ rights and lands.
The Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif Al-Qanou condemned the Israeli Committee of University Heads for approving a resolution that declares Ariel University as a committee member confirming that such resolutions will not grant Israel any legitimacy.
Spokesman Al-Qanou affirmed that the committee’s resolution constitutes an exposed colonialist expansionist policy and an obvious violation of the Palestinian rights which further violates international laws and conventions.
Earlier on Sunday the Committee of University Heads officially granted Ariel University established on the illegal settlement of Ariel a seat on the committee.
All Israeli settlement activities across the West Bank and Jerusalem are deemed illegal under international law.
