The head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya received a phone call from Ali Akbar Velayati a senior advisor to the Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution on Tuesday evening.
During the phone conversation Velayati hailed the Palestinian people and resistance in the West Bank.
He also stressed his country’s strong support for the Palestinian people until they obtain their rights.
For his part the Hamas chief thanked the senior Iranian official for the call commending the Islamic Republic’s unswerving support for the Palestinian people.
Haneyya also stressed the Palestinian people’s will and determination to confront the occupation.
