Iran’s foreign minister invites Haneyya to visit Tehran

Iranian foreign minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian has invited head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya to visit Tehran at his convenience.

According to his office on Sunday Haneyya received a phone call from Abdollahian who expressed Iran’s solidarity with the Palestinian people and the families of the martyrs.

The minister expressed his pride in the Palestinian resistance and applauded its response to the ongoing Israeli massacres and aggression in the occupied territories.

He affirmed his country’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their resistance and expressed his confidence that the Palestinian people would achieve victory and liberate Jerusalem the Aqsa Mosque and the entire historical land of Palestine.

For his part Haneyya expressed his appreciation for the invitation and the Iranian supportive position towards the Palestinian people their national cause and resistance.

The Hamas leader talked about the new right-wing Israeli government describing it as the worst cabinet but he expressed his belief that its practices would not succeed in achieving its aggressive goals and breaking the Palestinian people’s will.

He strongly denounced the recent drone attack on Isfahan City affirming that Iran is able to foil any aggression or conspiracy targeting it.
