Ismail Haneyya the Political Bureau Chairman of the Hamas Movement on Saturday evening recalled the oppression befalling the Palestinian people over the past 75 years.
Haneyya was addressing more than 30 ambassadors and representatives of Arab and Muslim countries in the Qatari capital Doha following an Iftar banquet hosted by his Movement.
The Hamas leader briefed the officials on the repeated Israeli crimes against the Palestinian sanctities the latest of which was the attack against the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the 14th of the holy month of Ramadan.
“The Palestinian people will continue resisting the Israeli crimes by all means possible” Haneyya affirmed.
Haneyya reiterated the Movement’s readiness to achieve national unity to confront the fascist Israeli government which he said is not different from previous governments except in its higher degree of criminality racism and extremism.
He called on the Arab and Muslim countries to support the Palestinian people at all levels and assume their responsibility towards the Islamic sanctities in Palestine.
Ten other senior officials of the Hamas Movement were present at the banquet.
