Medical sources announced the death of seven Palestinian children, in Kamal Adwan Hospital, as a result of malnutrition, bringing the number of victims of the escalating famine in the northern Gaza Strip to 13 children.

Anadolu Agency quoted the hospital director, Dr. Hossam Abu Safia, as saying that 7 children have died in the hospital as a result of malnutrition.

For his part, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, said that Israel is waging a new war against the residents of Gaza: the war of starvation.

Al-Qudra warned of the escalating number of martyrs who die because of starvation, especially among children, adding that a number of children who are receiving intensive healthcare are at risk of death because of hunger.

The spokesman pointed out that Israel has been hindering the efforts exerted by humanitarian organizations through procrastination in allowing the entry of aid convoys to Gaza, adding that the health system in northern Gaza has become paralyzed, following the closure of Kamal Adwan Hospital.

According to the Government Media Office, 31 hospitals in Gaza have been knocked out of service, and about 150 health institutions were partially affected by Israeli bombardment and blocking the entry of medical supplies and fuel into the besieged Strip.
