Israeli occupation forces (IOF) released 101 Palestinians who had previously been arrested from the Gaza Strip, through Kerem Shalom crossing in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, on Friday.
Medical sources reported that a large number of released prisoners arrived at Rafah hospitals with fractures and wounds as they were subjected to severe beating in Israeli prisons.
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz had recently disclosed atrocities committed against Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip, who were arrested and transferred to various detention centers during the ongoing war on Gaza.
Since October 7, 2023, the IOF has rounded up hundreds of residents of the Gaza Strip. Some prisoners were martyred in Israeli custody, while the fate of many other Gazan prisoners remains unknown, according to human rights sources.
