Israeli occupation forces (IOF) assaulted and injured a young Palestinian man on Saturday at a military checkpoint south of Nablus. Settler attacks were also reported in other areas of the West Bank.
The Red Crescent Society reported that a young man, 22, was injured in the head and eye as a result of severe beating at the hands of IOF soldiers at Al-Murabba checkpoint near the town of Tel, south of Nablus.
In Jericho, armed Israeli settlers grazed their sheep among Palestinian Bedouin dwellings in the Rai Ain al-Ouja area, north of the city. Other settlers disguised themselves in military uniform and attacked poultry farms in the town of Qasra.
Meanwhile, the IOF raided several areas in Bethlehem and Jenin, and arrested five citizens from Al-Khalil, mainly from the towns of Dura, Beit Ummar and Yatta.
This morning, Balata refugee camp near Nablus city witnessed armed clashes between resistance fighters and the IOF soldiers as they stormed the camp and besieged a house before arresting two young men.
