The Hamas Movement has urged its compatriots and resistance fighters in the West Bank to escalate their clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and Jewish settlers and make them pay dearly for their crimes.
“The scenes that showed soldiers protecting terrorist settler militias as they were vandalizing and burning citizens’ property in the village of Beitin in the northeast of Ramallah City proved clearly that such barbaric attacks are an organized and systematic process supervised by the fascist occupation government,” Hamas said in a statement on Sunday.
Hamas expressed its belief that the Israeli army and settlers complement each other in their attacks in the West Bank in order to “implement the Zionist agendas that aim to seize and Judaize more Palestinian lands and displace the local residents from them.”
The Movement called on the international community and the UN to condemn the current barbaric settler crimes and violations in the West Bank and take steps to hold the Israeli government accountable for its involvement in those attacks.
