The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has called upon the steadfast Palestinian people to ignite confrontations with the criminal Israeli occupation in all confrontation areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem in response to the criminal massacre in the Nour Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem.

Hamas bade farewell to the martyrs of Tulkarem who confronted the occupation forces with courage and determination, affirming in a statement on Sunday that “Zionist criminality will not bring security to the occupation, and that the resistance of our people will continue from generation to generation until victory and liberation, Allah willing.”

Hamas called upon the people in the West Bank to observe a general strike on Sunday, and ignite flashpoints against the occupation, and for all the weapons of the free to be directed towards this occupation and its criminal settlers.

The occupation forces withdrew Saturday evening from the Nour Shams camp, leaving behind massive destruction, along with dozens of martyrs and injuries in addition to taking dozens of detainees. The Israeli army admitted that 9 of its soldiers were injured by the resistance’s gunfire and explosive devices.

The resistance fighters engaged in armed clashes with the occupation soldiers and detonated several homemade explosive devices.

Earlier today, Israeli occupation forces detained a crew from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society and another medical crew in front of Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem.

The occupation forces detained the paramedics and doctors in the vicinity of Thabet Thabet Hospital, scrutinizing their identities and subjecting them to interrogation and field investigation. A video clip showed an Israeli occupation army force detaining a crew from the Palestinian Red Crescent at the entrance of Thabet Thabet Hospital in the city of Tulkarem.

In another statement on Saturday evening, Hamas mourned the martyrdom of the paramedic Mohammed Awad Musa from the village of Qaryut south of Nablus, who was martyred by the gunfire of settler militias after they attacked the citizens and their property in the town of Sawiya, south of the city, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that its medical teams transported a seriously injured ambulance driver who was shot in the chest with live ammunition during the confrontations in Sawiya. He was declared dead at a medical center, and its teams evacuated the bodies of 14 martyrs from the Nour Shams camp to the hospital after the withdrawal of the occupation forces, which prevented access to the injured and martyrs.

Activist Bashar Al-Qaryouti confirmed that the ambulance crews headed to rescue the injured after they were targeted in Sawiya, and they were able to carry a number of the injured who were shot by the settlers and the occupation army. He added that after carrying the injured, the settlers and the occupation soldiers directly targeted the ambulance crews, resulting in the martyrdom of the ambulance driver Musa from the village of Qaryut.

Hamas said in its statement, “The crimes of the extremist settler militias, committed by the order of the Zionist occupation government and protected by its terrorist army, will not go unpunished. It emphasized that our Palestinian people will find a way to hold these criminal militias accountable.”

It called upon the Palestinian people in the West Bank to unite and stand in solidarity with the targeted villages and defend them, and to continue protecting the villages and towns through popular committees, and to remain vigilant and confront the settler herds and their militias.
