GAZA, (PIC)

Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) announced that medical teams have managed to discover a third mass grave inside Al-Shifa Hospital, from which 49 martyrs have been recovered so far, and the recovery operation is still ongoing.

The Office confirmed in a statement on Wednesday the discovery of a third mass grave inside the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, announcing the recovery of 49 bodies so far from the third grave. The government teams are still recovering more bodies, and the recovery operations have not yet concluded, with the expectation of finding dozens of new bodies.

It said that this is part of the genocide and historical crime committed by the Israeli occupation army inside the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, where nearly 400 martyrs, including many medical, nursing, and administrative staff working at the Al-Shifa Complex, were executed. Hundreds of wounded, patients, and displaced individuals were also executed, and there are still hundreds of missing persons and detainees.

Thus, the number of mass graves discovered inside hospitals rises to seven, one in Kamal Adwan Hospital, three in Al-Shifa Medical Complex, and three in Nasser Medical Complex, from which 520 martyrs have been recovered so far, according to the GMO.

It strongly condemned the crimes of genocide and ongoing killings committed by the occupation army against the Palestinian people inside and outside hospitals, calling on all international and UN organizations to condemn this heinous crime.

The GMO held the US administration, the international community, and Israel responsible for these mass graves. It added that the occupation still enjoys a green light to continue these crimes against humanity with full US support.

The GMO called on all free countries of the world to pressure Israel to stop the genocide and the war against the healthcare sector and hospitals. It also demanded an independent international investigation into the crimes against humanity committed by the occupation army against medical personnel, the wounded, patients, displaced individuals, and civilians in general.
