The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained a two-year-old child at Barta’a Checkpoint near Jenin on Monday.
Asra Information Office affirmed that the 2-year-old Hamoudi Mustafa Amash was detained and searched for allegedly insulting IOF troops stationed at the checkpoint.
The incident came a few days after a 3-year-old child wearing a T-shirt printed with an M16 rifle is pictured was forced to take off his clothing.
The child was stopped at a military checkpoint along with his mother and the IOF soldiers forced the mother to undress her toddler for wearing T-shirt with gun drawing.
The child was left to go home shirtless after soldiers confiscated his T-shirt.
5400 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli jails including 160 children aged between 14 and 18.
