A 20-year-old Palestinian young man died of wounds he sustained more than a week earlier in Jenin during the Israeli occupation forces’ attack on his village.
Lutfi Ibrahim Labadi was shot and seriously injured in his head last Monday after IOF soldiers violently stormed Yamun village while firing at protesters.
Labadi’s body was transferred from Ibn Sina Hospital to his hometown where he will be buried amid calls by mourners for revenge.
Hamas Movement for its part mourned in a statement issued Friday “the Palestinian martyr Lutfi Labadi who succumbed at dawn Friday to wounds that he sustained after he was shot by the IOF last week during a raid in the West Bank town of Yamun west of Jenin.”
“We salute the martyr’s family the residents of Jenin and all Palestinians resisting the Israeli occupation across the occupied West Bank” the statement added.
“We reaffirm that the Palestinian blood will not go in vain rather it will fuel the Palestinian people’s comprehensive resistance and will not deter them from continuing their struggle will all their might until ending the occupation and achieving their aspirations for liberation and return” Hamas emphasized.
