Archbishop of Sebastia from the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem Atallah Hanna on Wednesday said that the best response to the so-called deal of the century should be through intensifying efforts to end the Palestinian internal division.
Hanna said that the Palestinian rift is an abnormal unjustified and unacceptable situation that must be addressed as fast as possible warning that the Israeli occupation is taking advantage of it to tighten its grip on the Palestinian people.
Hanna added that the deal of the century is the most dangerous conspiracy the Palestinian cause has been exposed to stressing that the Palestinians will not fall victims to any suspicious deals or agendas.
He called on all Palestinian national factions to act toward ending the internal dispute and stop the incitement and mutual mistrust to be able to defend their rights.
