Deputy head of Hamas’s political bureau Saleh al-Aruri said there is a united Palestinian position against the deal of the century and the American plan to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
Aruri made his remarks in a news conference held following his meeting with speaker of the Lebanese parliament Nabih Berri on Saturday in Beirut.
“We are fully convinced that the united Palestinian rallying against the deal of the century will foil it regardless of the attempts pressures and temptations to execute it” the Hamas official said.
Aruri also pointed out that he discussed with Berri the issue of the Palestinian presence in Lebanon and the importance of giving the Palestinian refugees in the country the right to have a decent life like their Lebanese brothers and sisters.
He also said that Hamas and the Lebanese leadership reject any plan to resettle the Palestinians in Lebanon stressing that the Palestinian people would never give up their historic and national right to their land.
