The National Committee to Support the Detainees in Nablus province held the Israeli occupation and Israeli prison service (IPS) responsible for the life of the Palestinians in Nafha and Negev lock-ups.
The committee called on the Palestinians regardless of their political affiliations to hold emergency meetings so as to discuss the prisoners’ cause at the soonest time possible.
The committee said it held an emergency meeting to monitor the latest developments as regards the issue and to keep track of the violations perpetrated by the IPS against the Palestinian detainees.
On Wednesday over 400 Israeli soldiers stormed sections 2 and 12 in the Israeli Nafha jail and forced the detainees out of the prison rooms. On the same day the Israeli Nahshon and Matsada special units broke into Palestinian prisoners’ sections in the Negev lock-up and aggressively attacked the detainees.
