Hamas’s parliamentary delegation led by Mahmoud al-Zahar on Saturday met with Ali Larijani the Speaker of the Parliament of Iran in Tehran city.
The Palestinian delegation in addition to al-Zahar includes MPs Marwan Abu Ras Mohammed al-Ghoul and Mushir al-Masri.
Al-Zahar expressed his appreciation for Iran’s incessant support of the Palestinian cause and praised the country’s position at the United Nations General Assembly against the US-drafted resolution condemning the Palestinian resistance.
Al-Zahar briefed Larijani on the latest developments in the Palestinian arena and invited him to visit the Gaza Strip.
For his part Larijani stressed the need for mobilizing efforts at international forums to thwart the Deal of the Century and other conspiracies plotted against the Palestinian cause.
He thanked the Hamas parliamentary delegation for their visit and affirmed that the Palestinian people and their just cause have the full support of Iran.
