The Hamas Movement has accused the Israeli occupation state of persisting in its attempts to obliterate the Palestinian people’s heritage and stealing and destroying their history and antiquities.
“The Zionist occupation is still trying to expunge and steal the Palestinian heritage with all its aspects and destroy the Palestinian antiquities — whether Islamic or Christian — in order to twist facts wipe out the landmarks and ensure the survival of its alleged entity and its fake story and history” Hamas spokesman Abdul-Latif al-Qanu said in a press release on the occasion of the International Day of the Palestinian Heritage.
“However the Palestinian people are confronting the occupation and its policies by upholding their rights and national heritage” spokesman Qanu underlined.
He also affirmed that “the Palestinian heritage represents the Palestinian people’s real existence and contributes to cementing their historical right to their land and holy sites and strengthening their steadfastness in the face of the Zionist occupation and its lies.”
