Spokesman for the Hamas Movement Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Qanuo has welcomed in a press release issued Thursday the United Nations General Assembly’s vote on a resolution that supports the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.
The overwhelming majority voted in favor of the Palestinian people’s right to establish their independent state he pointed out.
“As Hamas commends the positions of the voting countries in favor of our Palestinian people it considers this vote a victory for the Palestinian just cause and a failure of the Zionist entity” he added.
Hamas also reaffirms the US hostile positions against the international consensus and insistence on its flagrant bias to the occupation after it voted against the UN resolution.
