Head of FIDDER association Mohammed Msheinesh delivered a lecture on Tuesday on the 69th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba at İmam Hatip School for girls in Istanbul in order to raise awareness and correct the misconceptions of the Turkish people about the Nakba and the Palestinian question in general.
Msheinesh talked about the massacres perpetrated against the Palestinians by the Israeli gangs and the Balfour promise to establish a homeland for Jews in Palestine and its consequences on the Palestinian people who have been suffering from displacement since the Nakba in 1948.
He also touched on the 50th anniversary of the occupation of Jerusalem pointing to the Turkish role in supporting the Palestinian cause in the past and present.
The lecture included long discussions and questions by the students about the Nakba Judaization of Jerusalem and Gaza siege and about the duty they are required to do toward Palestine.
