Israeli occupation forces (IOF) dismantled on Monday four tents in south of al-Khalil and confiscated them causing the displacement of a family of 15 including children.
Ratib al-Jabour the coordinator of the Popular and National Committees to Resist the Wall and Settlements said in a press statement that IOF stormed al-Buwaib village northeast of Yatta and seized four tents.
Jabour explained that two tents were inhabited by the family of Ibrahim Jibrin consisting of 15 people and now they are left in the open without shelter. The two other tents were used as a barn for 100 sheep.
Meanwhile IOF dismantled an agricultural caravan in the Zotout area northeast of Yatta owned by Yasser Abu Fanar and confiscated it.
The IOF soldiers and settlers have recently escalated their attacks on the village adjacent to the Bani Hefer settlement and the hamlets east of Yatta and Masafer Yatta.
The occupation’s incessant attacks on Masafer Yatta and harassment of its residents aim at forcing them to leave in order to expropriate their land and build settlements in its place.
